EEG Observation Experience
A personal exploration of original sound and recorded brain electrical activity, built around a question you want to explore. The aim is a clearer record of what happened during your session, including what you noticed and questions worth exploring further.
Begin with your question
We agree on the activities and listening conditions before recording. Possibilities include quiet rest, original Clarity Field sound, humming, or imagination. Your preferences, comfort, and description of the experience help shape the session.
Listen, participate, and record
EEG records electrical activity at the scalp while you take part in the agreed activities. A quiet comparison period can provide a starting point. Documented activity changes and repetitions help us compare conditions rather than rely on a single striking moment.
Review the session together
Your account sits beside the recording. We compare patterns across the documented conditions and discuss what they may—and may not—tell us. A change in a displayed signal does not by itself identify a feeling, thought, or cause.
Sound designed around the experiment
Custom sound design is developed within the EEG experience around the agreed experiment, your observations, and questions arising from the recording. Its scope is discussed as part of that experience. It is not offered as a separate website sound-design commission.
What you can explore
See your recorded EEG activity in real time. Compare selected activities such as listening and quiet rest. Share what you notice so your perspective informs the review, and leave with questions you can carry forward.
Your planned takeaways
A personalized observation report and take-home Clarity Field CD are planned. The report can bring together the question, activities and listening conditions, observed signals, your account, limitations, and possible next steps.
Session arrangements
Based in Denver, Colorado. The experience is in development; pricing, availability, and delivery details—including the report and take-home CD—will be confirmed before booking or payment. An inquiry does not create a purchase obligation.
Understanding the recording
This is nonclinical observation, not diagnosis, treatment, or neurofeedback therapy. Movement, muscle activity, and electrode contact can affect EEG recordings; humming and speaking can introduce muscle activity. We document these conditions and keep your subjective experience distinct from what the recording establishes. No particular response or brainwave change is promised.
Use and ownership
Sonik WRay retains authorship of its sound recordings, working files, production methods, and underlying know-how unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any recording provided for take-home listening has its intended use confirmed in advance; public, organizational, commercial, distribution, or exclusive use requires separate written permission. You retain rights in material you provide.
